On November 10, 2025, Nasha Shkola was named a “Beat the Odds” school by The Minnesota Star Tribune. This recognition highlights our strong academic performance compared to schools serving similar student populations. According to The Minnesota Star Tribune’s analysis of Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA), “Beat the Odds” schools are those whose students significantly outperform expectations based on demographics such as income, race, and English learner status. Out of more than 2,000 schools statewide, only a small percentage earn this distinction each year.

At Nasha Shkola, students in grades 3–8 exceeded expected proficiency by 12% in reading and 33% in math. This achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and genuine care our staff bring to their work every day. Our teachers and support staff work tirelessly to ensure that every student—regardless of background—receives a high-quality classical education that nurtures both character and intellect.
