    Mission: Nasha Shkola aspires to be a multi-cultural charter school committed to exceptional education in all areas of academic inquiry with an emphasis on Russian Language and Culture, providing structured and responsive learning environment based upon educational best practices for all students and their families.
    Vision: To be an academically rigorous school preparing students for continued success as motivated learners and global citizens.

    1. March 2024 Financial Report
      • Fund 01
        • As of March 31, 2024 the school has received in Fund 01 a total of $1,040,822 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 63% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of March 31, 2024 the school has expended in Fund 01 $1,158,199 which is 68% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola ended March 2024 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 01 deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($117,377).
      • Fund 02
        • As of March 31, 2024 the school has received in Fund 02 a total of $67,307 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal and Local revenues which is 107% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of March 31, 2024 the school has expended in Fund 02 $60,474 which is 96% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola ended March 2024 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 02 positive balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of $6,833.
      • Fund 04
        • As of March 31, 2024 the school has received in Fund 02 a total of $795 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 68% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of March 31, 2024 the school has expended in Fund 04 $725 which is 62% of its current budgeted expense.
      • General notes:
        • Nasha Shkola had a total cash balance of $115,644 at the end of March 2024 reflected across all funds.
    2. Executive Director report – Yelena Hardcopf
      • Current enrollment is 106 students.
      • 2024-2025 Intent to Return survey has been sent out; responses for 40 students have been received; 13 students are currently enrolled for Kindergarten
      • MCA assessments have begun – students in grades 3-8 are taking the Reading and Math assessments; students in grades 5 and 8 will also take MCA Science
      • Spring Kitchen inspection was conducted and passed without any findings
      • End-of-the-year planning of school activities is taking place
      • Annual ACTR Olympiada of spoken Russian Language for grades 6-8 will take place May 2,2024
      • History Day, Grades 5-8
      • K-8 NWEA assessment in reading and Math – May 1-24
      • AVANT Russian language proficiency test for grades 6-8 will take place in May
      • Teacher observations have started – the goal is use the data for professional development planning for the upcoming school year
      • Staff, parent, and student surveys will be given in May

    1. FY25 contracts with contractors/vendors:
      • transportation contract proposal 4MOTIV
      • Science from Scientists 24-25
        • We are looking to renew the contact with Science for Scientists for the upcoming school year.
      • TWILL Sports 24-25
        • We are considering a vendor contract for the upcoming school year
        • Services will include 2 days of classes – up to 16 hours a week for a 9-month school year starting August 2024.

    1. Title III consortium
      NS formed Title III consortium with Progeny Academy to jointly apply for funding that would support English Language Learners in both districts
