      • Fund 01
        • As of January 31, 2025 the school has received in Fund 01 a total of $986,797 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 53% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of January 31, 2025 the school has expended in Fund 01 $972,682 which is 55% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended January 2025 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 01 positive balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of $14,115.
      • Fund 02
        • As of January 31, 2025 the school has received in Fund 02 a total of $59,124 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 65% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of January 31, 2025 the school has expended in Fund 02 $69,300 which is 76% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended January 2025 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 02 deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($10,176).

        • As of January 31, 2025 the school has received in Fund 04 a total of $152 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 13% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of January 31, 2025 the school has expended in Fund 04 $402 which is 33% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended January 2025 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 04 deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($250).
      • General notes:
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School had a total cash balance of $59,827 at the end of January 2025 reflected across all funds.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School had a balance of ($4,323) in accounts receivable at January 31, 2025.
        • There was a balance of $54,291 in current liabilities in general accounts payable and payroll liabilities at January 31, 2025.
        • The Revised Budget is based on 115 ADM/117 pupil units. State aid is now being paid on 120.40 ADM/122.4 P.U., which includes 5.4 PK ADM.
    2. Executive Director report
      • Current enrollment is 134 students.
      • The current ADM is 132.52 according to the December 2024 MARSS report.
      • Attendance rate is 94%.
      • Parent-teacher conferences were held on 2/14/25. 76% of parents attended.
      • PreKindergarten application is completed for FY26-29. Funding will be for 9 students
        • NWEA:
          • selected ELL students tested in reading to track growth in English skills.
          • 16 Kindergarten students were tested for baseline assessment/data.
            • Math
              • Class average RIT score: 152
              • Kindergarten: “at or above” national average of 140
              • Class median percentile: 85%
            • ELA
              • Class average RIT score: 146
              • Kindergarten: “at or above” national average of 137
              • Class median percentile: 74%
        • Early Literacy (winter benchmarking)
          • K: Fall 60%; Winter 75%
          • 1st: Fall 59%; Winter 57%
          • 2nd: Fall 42%; Winter 50%
          • 3rd: Fall 69%; Winter 67%
          • 4th: Winter 44%
          • SMART Goal: 55-70% of students in grades 1-3 will achieve grade level expectations. Currently, 58% of students achieve grade level expectations.
      • Other Academic Performance Improvement Strategies:
        • Learning Objectives have been posted and referred to in most classrooms (verified via walk-throughs)
        • Math fact fluency has been an area of need for students. The school is utilizing RocketMath in grades K-2 (it has not yet been implemented in grades 3 and 4).
        • Students need more time to read. 30-minute Guided Reading groups are being implemented across grade levels. Small group reading is taking place using Groves materials.
        • There is a need to increase communication between middle school and families. Conferences and individual meetings have been ways in which communication has increased.
      • ACCESS assessment:
        • 60 students have been identified as ELL and will be tested between February 1st and March 28th.
      • Staffing updates:
        • Camelia Miller (SPED Para) has terminated her employment with NS as of 1/6/2025.
        • Raheem Tyner has been hired as 1.0 SPED Para as of 1/28/2025.
        • Amanda Rohde left for maternity leave as of 2/18/2025 and will not return until Fall 2025-26.
        • Amy Cox has increased her teaching load to 0.9 FTE to teach English/Literacy in Kindergarten for the remainder of the school year.
        • Yelena Hardcopf has increased her teaching load to 0.7 FTE
          • 0.25 FTE (10 hrs) Russian Language in middle school
          • 0.45 FTE (18 hrs) Kindergarten substitute teaching
      • Strategic planning/future development of educational programs
        • Student Support Personnel Aid Funding (school counselor/Social Worker): this position has been made available through funding and has been successful in providing supports and interventions for elementary students in small group settings. She has also participated in parent meetings. The vendor has been contracted through Designs for Learning.
        • Voluntary PreKindergarten Application (FY) 2026-29: Sign up for upcoming school year is full. There will be a total of 9 students. The VPK program will continue to use the HighScope curriculum and assessment tool.
        • Science for Scientists FY26: Currently, NS does not have a Science teacher. Contracting with this vendor provides a unique way for students to access science labs with highly qualified scientists.
        • Staffing needs:
          • 1 FTE Elementary teacher
          • 0.5 FTE Science teacher in grades 6-8
          • 0.25 FTE Gym teacher
          • 1.0 FTE Gen Ed Para
        • ACT (Arts, Culture & Technology)
          • Use the budget for the 0.25 FTE Art teacher to hire/contract for Art, Robotics, Dance, etc.
