   Vision: To be an academically rigorous school preparing students for continued success as motivated learners and global citizens.
   Mission: Nasha Shkola aspires to be a multi-cultural charter school committed to exceptional education in all areas of academic inquiry with an emphasis on Russian Language and Culture, providing structured and responsive learning environment based upon educational best practices for all students and their families.

         • Enrollment
           • Current enrollment is 136 students.
      2. Student Achievement
         • We finished Fall NWEA testing.Financial Report
      3. Other reports
         • We had our Fall parent-teacher conferences online last Friday, October 15th. We had a very successful turn-out especially for elementary grades.
         • NS has applied for Emergency Connectivity Grant that would allow us to purchase laptops for all students. Waiting to hear results.
         • NS has purchased a new Science curriculum for middle school grades 6-8
         • NS has purchased LLI for 2nd grade Guided Reading to support struggling readers

         • General Fund 01
           • The General Fund 01 has received a total of $344,871 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 23% of its current budgeted amount.
           • As of September 30th, 2021 the school has expended in Fund 01 $291,861 which is 19% of its current budgeted expense.
           • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended September 2021 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 01 positive balance of $53,010.
         • Food Service Fund – 02
           • As of September 30, 2021 the school has received in Fund 02 a total of $3,662 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 9% of its current budgeted amount.
           • As of September 30, 2021 the school has expended in Fund 02 $9,202 which is 24% of its current budgeted expense.
           • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended September 2021 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 02 deficit balance of ($5, 539).
           • Nasha Shkola Charter School had a total cash balance of $301,841 at the end of September 2021 reflected across all funds.
           • Nasha Shkola Charter School had a balance of $30,493 in accounts receivable at the end of September 30, 2021.
           • Nasha Shkola had an overall audited fund balance of $278,559 at June 30, 2021 which includes its investments in fixed assets.
           • The Adopted Budget Approved is based on 105 ADM. State aid is being paid on 130 ADM or 135 Pupil Unit, this will need to be adjusted to reflect enrollment.

7. Old Business
   1. NS Health & Safety Plan follow up
      • So far 33 school days, 3 families – 6 sick students quarantine as close-contacts for COVID with out-of-school exposure
      • We have health checks emailed to families every morning
      • There have been more upper respiratory illnesses (i.e. cold, strep) among students in the recent weeks.
   2. Pre-kindergarten application update
      • IQS/NS have applied to the state. Waiting to hear the results
   3. Lease 22-23 (Discussion & Planning)
      • Listings from the realter will be forwarded to board members.
      • There are currently no viable listings.
      • Form committee tat will include teachers and parents.
      • Marisol Serdiouk will be a co-chair in this committee.
   4. Staffing update & needs
      • Hired a full-time Special Education teacher.
      • Hired a full-time third grade teacher (through the agency)
      • Hired a .3 FTE art teacher to tache art in all grades k-8
      • Still looking for a Special Education para.
        • We have 5 students in Special Education. We need a para to help provide the in-classroom support that these students need.
      • In need of a general education para to provide academic support to our ELL student population.
        • We are short on general education para support.
      • We are continuing to look for a second Kindergarten teacher.
        • Currently Yelena Hardcopf has received out of field permission (Elementary Teaching license K-6) to provide instruction to Kindergarten students.
