      • General Fund 01
        • As of April 30, 2026 the school has received in Fund 01 a total of $1,552,317 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 73% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of April 30, 2026 the school has expended in Fund 01 $1,431,171 which is 72% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended April 2026 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 01 positive balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of $121,145.
      • Fund 02
        • As of April 30, 2026 the school has received in Fund 02 a total of $113,322 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal and Local revenues which is 93% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of April 30, 2026 the school has expended in Fund 02 $102,988 which is 85% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended April 2026 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 02 positive balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of $10,335.
      • Fund 04
        • As of April 30, 2026 the school has received in Fund 04 a total of $1,627 of current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 62% of its current budgeted amount.
        • As of April 30, 2026 the school has expended in Fund 04 $1,859 which is 71% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School ended April 2026 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 04 deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($232).
      • General notes:
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School had a total cash balance of $552,315 at the end of April 2026 reflected across all funds.
        • Nasha Shkola Charter School had a balance of ($1,940) in accounts receivable at April 30, 2026.
        • There was a balance of $52,051 in current liabilities for general accounts payable and payroll liabilities at April 30, 2026. A portion of the liability is for payroll withholdings on the last day of the month which are not paid until the first days of the next month, thus they are reflected on the current balance sheet.
        • Overall fund balance on June 30, 2025 totaled $381,165 (including fund 01, 02, 04). Through the current fiscal year, the School has an overall net income of $131,248 across all funds, on a cash basis.
        • The Revised Budget is based on 140 ADM / pupil units.
        • State aid is being paid on 139.4 ADM and 142.6 Pupil Units.
        • Current ADM is at 143.01/146.21 PU.
    2. Executive Director’s report
      • Reading benchmark testing is being completed and data will be compiled for the Comprehensive Needs Assessment report.
      • Preliminary results for MCA Math and Science are available.
      • Preliminary results for MCA Reading will be available in June.
      • NWEA assessments are underway. This assessment is taken twice a year to collect data on growth and proficiency in the areas of math and reading. The reports will be shared in the June board meeting.
      • Students in grades 6 – 8 are taking the annual Russian assessment. This assessment allows students to apply for a biliterate certificate.
      • Scholastic Book Fair took place May 4th-8th. The event was a success with students, staff, and parents. There have been about $3,000 in sales. The school will receive a portion of the proceeds to spend on items on the Scholastic website.
      • Pet Haven donation and fund drive took place May 18th-22nd. The event was organized by students in grades 7-8. The donation drive was extended to the landlord’s congregation as well. A total of 51 items were donated.
      • The annual Field Day and Graduation Day will take place on June 4th.
      • Nasha Shkola administration team is reviewing and interviewing teacher candidates for the upcoming school year.
      • The next school year’s budget will be based on 140 students.
      • Teachers are continuing to work on the Read Act. The OL&LA program is being used to fulfill this training requirement.
      • Results from the annual “End of the Year” surveys for students, staff, and families are being collected.

      1. Enrollment projections
        • A number of students have not confirmed their enrollment.
        • A few students who will be transferring out of Nasha Shkola.
        • Nasha Shkola administration team has been interviewing new families for the upcoming school year.
        • The projected enrollment for the upcoming school year is 152 students in grades PreK-8.

    1. IOwA (Identified Official with Authority) designation for 26-27
      The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) requires that school districts annually designate an Identified Official with Authority to comply with the MNIT Enterprise Identity and Access Management Standard which states that all user access rights to Minnesota state systems must be reviewed and recertified at least annually. The Identified Official with Authority will assign job duties and authorize external user’s access to MDE secure systems for their local education agency (LEA). The Board recommends to authorize Yelena Hardcopf to act as the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) and add name to act as the IOwA to add and remove names only for Nasha Shkola Charter school 4208-07Motion to approve Yelena Hardcopf as the Identified Official with Authority for 26-27.
