   Mission: Nasha Shkola aspires to be a multi-cultural charter school committed to exceptional education in all areas of academic inquiry with an emphasis on Russian Language and Culture, providing structured and responsive learning environment based upon educational best practices for all students and their families.
   Vision: To be an academically rigorous school preparing students for continued success as motivated learners and global citizens.

   1. Executive Director Report
      • Current enrollment is 109 students.
      • The New Year’s Program took place on Friday, December 15th. It was a
        good community event; PTO cookie and snack fundraiser event

      • Food Audit has been finalized – waiting for the final response from MDE
      • Employment Handbook is under review for ESST compliance. The
        revised Handbook will be presented to the board for vote in January.
      • Employment update – Special Education, Bodil Empting resigned on
        December 1st, 2023 – reason given was the distance; Eric Gunderson will
        serve as the new SpEd Teacher.
      • We are looking into Marketing resources / personnel to market the
        school.
      • Nasha Shkola is working with City Bank to open a line of credit
      • There will be a meeting in early January with the school accountant to
        revise the budget and build a 3-year budget as advised by IQS.

        • As of November 30, 2023 the school has received in Fund 01 a total of $562,318 of
          current Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 37% of its current
          budgeted amount.
        • As of November 30, 2023 the school has expended in Fund 01 $639,308 which is
          40% of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola ended November 2023 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 01
          deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($76,989).
      • Fund 02
        • As of November 30, 2023 the school has received in Fund 02 a total of $21,060 of
          current Fiscal Year State, Federal and Local revenues which is 33% of its current
          budgeted amount.
        • As of November 30, 2023 the school has expended in Fund 02 $27,668 which is 44%
          of its current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola ended November 2023 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 02
          deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($6,608).

        • As of November 30, 2023 the school has received in Fund 04 a total of $0 of current
          Fiscal Year State, Federal, and Local revenues which is 0% of its current budgeted
          amount.
        • As of November 30, 2023 the school has expended in Fund 04 $437 which is 0 of its
          current budgeted expense.
        • Nasha Shkola ended November 2023 with a current fiscal year to date Fund 04
          deficit balance (revenues received less expenditures incurred) of ($437).
      • General:
        • Nasha Shkola had a total cash balance of $211,313 at the end of November 2023
          reflected across all funds.
        • Nasha Shkola had a balance of ($25,849) in accounts receivable at November 30,
          2023.
        • There was a balance of $111,896 in current liabilities for general accounts payable
          and payroll liabilities at November 30, 2023. A portion of the liability is for payroll
          withholdings on the last day of the month which are not paid until the first days of
          the next month, thus they are reflected on the current balance sheet.
