About Nicole

My name is Nicole Laferriere, and this is my first year teaching at Nasha Shkola. I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade here and to be part of such a wonderful community.  I grew up in Maple Grove, MN, where my family still lives today.  I attended St. Cloud State University for my degree in Elementary Education. This year in fourth grade we will be working on Reading and Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies, getting ready for Middle School. Students will also be learning to take more responsibility for their work and using collaboration in some of their school work. In the summer months, I give horseback riding lessons for the YMCA Camp Ihduhapi which is one of my passions and hobbies.
